CommentLuv – A WordPress Plugin

www.srsvirtualassistant.comOne of the things that make the Ultimate Blog Challenge easier is to use short cuts, tricks and plugins. I’m for anything that makes blogging on a daily basis easier. One of the things I love is a plugin for WordPress called CommentLuv.

As the write up for the plugin says, it rewards your readers by automatically placing a link to their last blog post at the end of their comment. Encourage a community and discover new posts. In short, when you go and comment on another blog if I have this plugin activated on my WordPress site it will show the title of the last blog written on the other person’s site. I love when this plugin is being used because it makes it so easy for me to go to that person’s site and leave a comment.

To install this plugin on your WordPress site go to the plugin section of your account, add new and look for CommentLuv. Install and activate the plugin and it is ready to go. Here is the link to the CommentLuv page and you can download it from there too if you would like. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/commentluv/screenshots/.

Please comment below and tell me if you have the CommentLuv plugin or not and what you think of it.

  1. I couldn’t wait to go self-hosted just so I could install CommentLuv. It’s my absolute favorite plugin. 😀 I love discovering new posts through it.

  2. I recently read about this and have paid more attention to other blogs when visiting to see if they use it. I think it’s a great idea.

  3. If you purchase the “premium” version, it also lets folks choose which of the last few posts they wish to publicize. Great recommend, Shawn.

  4. I love to find Commentluv on blogs I’m leaving comments on. I so wish it was available for Blogger. Blogger’s commenting system does not work very well and there doesn’t seem to be any alternative that I am aware of.

I enjoy your videos Toni. I have to force myself to do them. I don’t know why I dislike doing them so much.

  6. CommentLuv is the best, love it! I used the free version for a while and then got the Premium one for all blogs, I highly recommend it, it’s great!
