YouTube is a great place to hang out if you are looking for some entertainment for the afternoon or if you are needing some music to listen to. Those cute kitten videos are so hilarious, right. And if you are into country music Lady Antebellum brought the music and the cute kitten videos together.
Ok, back to YouTube and Marketing.
Are you using YouTube to its full advantage? It happens to be the second most popular search engine — not Yahoo! or Bing. To use it in your marketing you need to be willing to learn a little about YouTube and the best way to post and use keywords with your videos. And you need to be willing to shoot videos.
I’ll admit I have some fear about the fact of me being on video but we have to overcome our fears to grow in business. Also, there is some equipment you will needed to make the videos but I am willing to bet that most of you have a smart phone with video recording on it or a webcam on your computer.
Most of the videos I have done are pointed at the computer as I explain a concept or show a feature. Doing this helps me in overcoming my fear of being on camera and also having content on YouTube.
You can make the process of making videos very complicated and expensive. My advice is to take your smart phone shoot a couple of quick videos and load them. You also will need to spend some time reading on YouTube or Google the ways to go about putting your keywords with your video that is how they get found, ranked and read.
