Pinstamatic A Great Tool to Use With Pinterest

www.srsvirtualassistant.comThere is a lot of talk about using Pinterest right now and how it can help your business. So,  I thought it would be beneficial to take a look at some of the tools that are out there to use along with Pinterest to help with marketing your business. The first tool we are going to look at today is called Pinstamatic. The website is

Pinstamatic is a tool you can use with Pinterest. With it you can create great content to put on your Pinterest boards. It is more then just photos you can create a note or a quote. You are able to add a website, make a clickable map of your company’s location and even share music using Pinstamatic. It is another way to add great content to your boards. The company began on March 28, 2012 in Brighton Sussex and it states on their website that their goal is to help get the most out of Pinterest. Let’s take a look at the 8 different areas of Pinstamatic.

Website: You enter the URL of your website and Pinstamatic takes a snapshot of it and then you can pin it to one of your Pinterest boards. I tried it and it works great, the picture is of the entire front page so it showcases quite a bit of your website.

There is the quotes and text button. You choose a style there are six different ones available then you put in your text and the author’s name if you would like. Here is a picture of the one I made.

PinstamaticSticky notes. It says that they look like any sticky note you would write. These are used for short messages to your followers. All you have to do is enter the text and pin. There are four colors; yellow, violet, green and orange.

Another option available with Pinstamatic is Spotify. You can also create a pin of your favorite song and its album artwork. All you have to do is start typing and if Spotify knows the track it will pop up the song. Choose the one you want. I’m a bit of a country western person so I typed in Need You Now by Lady Antebellum and it did send up the song and the album cover for it.

PinstamaticThen there is the Twitter profile button. With this you are making a pin of your twitter profile or any profile you would like. It shows the picture and the profile and the last tweet of the twitter profile. Just type the username in the box.

Calendar date is the next feature of Pinstamatic. A great way to get out any upcoming events you have coming up.

PinstamaticA location map is available as well. Put in the address, a title and description. A Google map appears with the location spotlighted and then there is a paper clipped message that comes from the title you put down attached to the map. It says the optional description will appear under the map but I don’t see mine.

A photo filter or caption is the last option available. With the filter you can upload an image from your computer and apply an effect and pin it to a board. You can add captions to your favorite photos. Enter the text to go at the top, bottom or both. You can have your caption centered or aligned to either side.

Leave me a comment and let me know how you like Pinstamatic.
