Twitter and Marketing

www.srsvirtualassistant.comHave you thought about the different ways you can use Twitter to market your business? When we think of social media most people I know think of Facebook and there are some great ways to market with it but today I want to talk about Twitter and different ways we can use it to market your business.

Pay with a tweet – If you want more customers then entice people to promote your company. Start thinking outside of the box. Free users can market your company for you with a tweet, a plug on Facebook or any other social site. You just have to be willing to ask them for a plug on these social sites or else you won’t receive them.

Tweet or blog about upcoming news you have coming up. Are you launching a product, have you just reached a major milestone any news you have is the right news to share on Twitter.

On Twitter use a hashtag# with your business name and industry term. If you are consistent with this then people will learn and remember your hashtag. You have to think of this as another form of branding your company.

On Twitter you are only allowed 140 characters but with a little creativity and thought you can do a lot with it and build another loyal following that is interested in you and your business.

Join me on Twitter and I promise I will return the follow.

Do you use and enjoy Twitter. Tell me about it.

It seems people are very connected on Twitter when it comes to life’s events. As soon as things happen they want to get it out right away and so they tweet. It’s quick and to the point. It reminds me of short hand!
